Vestavia Hills Soccer Club partners with STRIVE Birmingham as the 2025 Community Non-Profit Partner. STRIVE, a national leader in workforce development, empowers individuals 18+ with free career training and support, bridging the skills and opportunity gaps for life-changing success. Discover how VHSC and STRIVE work together to empower graduating seniors and strengthen our community.

Coach Andy Yactayo has been coaching youth soccer since 2017 and has been with VHSC since 2019. He has worked primarily with boys’ teams ranging from U9 to U16, focusing on player development and fostering a love for the game.

A graduate of Spring Hill College in Mobile, AL, Andy moved to Birmingham in 2019 and has been an integral part of the soccer community ever since.

In his free time, Coach Andy enjoys watching the beautiful game and spending quality time with his family. His dedication to both the sport and his players makes him a valued member of the VHSC coaching staff.
